Chartered in 2003, the Gold Coast Chapter of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses is an organization of Registered Nurses spanning all of Broward County and parts of Dade and Palm Beach Counties. Our members work in diverse and multispecialty areas such as; academia and research, administration, rehabilitation units, medical-surgical units, pediatric units, emergency and trauma departments, and surgery. Just as our mother organization, the AANN, we are committed to working for the highest standard of care for our neurologically impaired by advancing the practice of nursing and community awareness. The Gold Coast Chapter endeavors to accomplish this through continuing education, information dissemination, and advocacy on behalf of neuroscience patients, families, and nurses.
